#WhyISurge365 – Mary Cofield

#WhyISurge365 is a weekly series that highlights our fantastic SBAs. Learn from our many leaders as they share in their own words why they joined our company, advice they have for new teammates, and the keys to their own success.

Where are you from?

Richmond, VA

Why did you join Surge365?

We joined Surge365 as retired baby boomers looking for a way to travel more for less and supplement our retirement income. However, like many other Surgers, our goals changed and expanded as we learned more about multiple income opportunities with the company. It also changed as we saw how Surge365 was about changing lives and lifestyles for people in different phases of their life journey. Our passion for sharing our journey with others and leaving a legacy for our family became a primary goal. How can you feel so blessed and not tell others to help them achieve their goals?

What was the key to your success?

Self-development was key to understanding multilevel marketing as a business model to wealth. This business model causes you to think and grow differently. We are old school 9 to 5 people– get a job and retire. It took many webinars, books, mentoring, CDs and personal growth to change that mindset. We are so thankful for the many mentors in Surge365 who give so unselfishly of their time and talents to so many to help them make this transition.

What’s your advice for those just getting started?

Self-development is critical to success in this business. Following the process is critical. You can do this full-time, part-time, but not some-time! CONSISTENCY IS CRITICAL.

What are your goals for your business?

I PLAN TO BE THE OLDEST NEWEST DIRECTOR IN Surge365! I plan to share what we learned to help others take the steps to learn a new way of thinking. My goal is to make a difference in people’s lives.
